Helmholtz-Zentrum Berlin relies on the n.jet platform from Notion Systems in the area of additive digital manufacturing

The Helmholtz-Zentrum Berlin (HZB) using the n.jet lab 300 a modular inkjet platform from Notion Systems for development and the scale up of the additive manufacturing processes for the production of Perowskit solar cells.

The platform would be also part of the Helmholtz Innovation Lab HySPRINT (Hybrid Silicon Perovskite Research, Integration & Novel Technologies) and also the JointLabs a composite between the Humboldt University Berlin and the HZB under the direction of Prof. Dr. Emil List-Kratochvil and Dr. Eva Unger. Purpose of the research are the coverage of a wide scope topic of scaling and production of photovoltaic (opto-) and electronic components and devices […]

ABOUT HELMHOLTZ-ZENTRUM BERLIN

At the Helmholtz Zentrum Berlin für Materialien und Energie (HZB), we conduct research on complex systems of materials that contributes to dealing with challenges such as the energy transition. The HZB research portfolio includes solar cells, solar fuels, thermoelectrics, and materials for new, energy-efficient information technologies (spintronics) or electrochemical energy storage. Research on these energy materials is closely connected with the operation and advanced development of the BESSY II photon source. And our research approach always concentrates on thin-film technologies.
